Shelby 2011 Senior
Had a fun senior shoot with Shelby the other day :) It snowed, was sunny, and then rained on the day of this shoot, however the skies cleared up and we were able to spend a few hours running around town snapping images. Definitely a fun shoot!

Happy Tuesday!
I hope everyone is having a fabulous Tuesday! My eyes are feeling much better (for those of you who were not aware, I had a horrid eye infection last week)! To celebrate I am sharing a picture of one of my fellow choir-members from our trip to Europe! Isn't she just lovely?
I'm crazy busy this week, but Easter is just around the corner, so there is hope for some catch-up time!!!
Added a surprise Wednesday image from Europe :D Love this one so much :)
P.S. a little birdie says that there is a good chance that I will be in the Grand Forks Summer Art and Wine Walk in June :) Will tell you more when I know more! :D

Birthday Shoot
I did a shoot on my 20th birthday with my brother and a good friend of mine. I recently went back to those photos and realized that I never published most of them. So here they are.

Happy Friday Everyone!! I just wanted to take a moment to share another shot from my "Faith" Mini-series :) and to wish everyone a VERY happy and stress free weekend!!! Next week is going to be crazy for me, lots of editing, shooting, doing schoolwork, and working!! I probably won't have time to update until after next week, but have no fear, I'll just be preparing more images to share with you all!

Have A Little Faith
Relationships are built on trust. On understanding and committing to growing as a couple together. There is no guarantee that the relationship will work, no crystal ball to look into and find answers. It requires hard work, commitment, a lot of love and patience, and sometimes just a little faith.
I would like to take a moment to thank all of you who have supported me throughout the years, especially these last few as I began to tinker with photography. I could not have found the strength to continue without you. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
On a totally unrelated note, my shoot on Sunday went pretty well. The weather hated us, but we pushed through and I got some really lovely shots. I can't wait to finish editing them! Until then, here is a fun outtake from the shoot.

Europe
I was in Europe recently, as many of you know, and this is a sneak peak for some of the photos I will later be uploading :) I snapped this moment without warning the model and I really love how it turned out.
Overall I found the Europe trip really fun and rewarding. I became friends with people that I probably would have never had the opportunity to bond with back at home. However, next time I go to Europe I am going to go with just one or two people. Going with a group WAS a blast, but I ended up sacrificing a lot of things I wanted to get done in order to please the group. I didn't serious photoshoots like I wanted too, and while I love shopping, I spent far too much time inside of shops instead of exploring the great cities I was in. I DID love this trip and I learned a lot about myself as well as my fellow classmates, and I would recommend that everyone travel to Europe at some point. Also, I would recommend visiting SOME of the churches. While they are all beautiful and worth seeing, it is possible to "church" yourself out, and if you do that you stop appreciating the beauty around you. The artwork and architecture of Europe is stunning and worth seeing, and the culture difference gave me an entirely new perspective on American life. Not a bad perspective, just a different one.
I have a shoot tomorrow with two beautiful models that I am really excited about. It is supposed to snow, but pray that they weather men are wrong for me! Rain would work with this shoot, but snow would make it dicey!
